Shruti Haasan, the queen of musical madness and jaw-dropping beauty conducted a Q&A session on her Instagram today and the questions are funny, personal, insightful – a complete package!
In one of the questions, a fan asked what’s the most unexpected yet fascinating thing she learnt lately and she answered, “A lot of things we think really matter, they don’t matter. And the things we forget to pay attention to, the small things, that’s the sh*t that changes your luck. Fascinating, boring too, took me forever to figure out.”
Professionally, Shruti Haasan was a full-time actress and later, as she discovered her unwavering passion for music, she shifted to composing completely.
When she was being interviewed for working on Salaar‘s music, she said, “As much as I love reveling in all the light the world has to offer, tapping into the grey areas of my personality is where I truly flourish as a musician. I want people listening to my songs to feel more comfortable in the grey shades of their personhood, to feel that there is power to being authentic and true to your inner voice. The music I write comes from a very visceral and real place,”
In an old conversation, she had revealed that shifting to music was a conscious decision.
