Ved Krishna Turns Nine
Ved Krishna, son of Soundarya Rajinikanth and her ex-husband Ashwin Ramkumar, turned nine on May 6. The birthday party was a cricket-themed extravaganza. Ved, the birthday boy, sported a team India jersey, while his mother, Soundarya, wore a Chennai Super Kings jersey and carried her younger son, Veer.
Rajinikanth and his wife Latha were seen warmly greeting the guests and Ved’s friends at the party. The celebration highlighted the close-knit nature of Rajinikanth’s family, with the superstar often spending quality time with his relatives.
Soundarya Rajinikanth, a graphic designer and film producer, recently launched her show GANGS – Kuruthi Punal in Mumbai, which will stream on Prime Video. The gangster drama features actors Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Eswari Rao, and Nassar. The official release date of the series is yet to be announced.

New Film Announcement: Coolie
Rajinikanth recently announced his new film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sun Pictures. Sun Pictures has previously collaborated with Rajinikanth on hits like Enthiran, Petta, Annaatthe, and Jailer. The film was initially titled Thalaivar 171 before the title reveal. Coolie will feature music by Anirudh and stunt direction by Anbariv, marking Rajinikanth’s first collaboration with Lokesh, who is known for crime action-thrillers like Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo.
