ANR Lives On
On September 20, the Akkineni family is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao. On this occasion, the Akkineni family unveiled his Panchaloha statue in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.
The entire Akkineni family Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Amala, Akhil, Sumanth, Sushanth, and Naga Susheela, along with other family members gathered at the event to grace the inauguration and the statue was unveiled by Venkaiah Naidu, India’s Vice President. The stalwarts of the Telugu Film Industry paid their respects to Akkineni Nageshwara Rao at the ANR 100th birthday celebrations.
Nagarjuna who carrying forward his legacy with a successful career in the film industry hosted guests at the event. Tollywood star actors like Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Namrata, Nani, director SS Rajamouli, comedian Brahmanandam, Allu Arvind, Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad along with many others attended the event.
Akkineni Nageswara Rao widely known as ANR was an Indian actor and producer who predominantly worked in Telugu Cinema with many landmark films in his seventy-five-year film career. From timeless classics to unforgettable performances, He continues to inspire generations acting in over 255 films.
