Asit Kumarr Modi revealed that the entire team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was extremely worried during Gurucharan’s absence. He said, “We were all very worried, but now we can sigh in relief since he is back. I don’t know the details but I am happy that his family got his son back.” Asit emphasized his desire to speak with Gurucharan, although he has been unable to reach him as his phone remains unreachable.
Police Interrogation on the Sets
The situation led to police involvement, with officers visiting the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to interrogate the cast and crew. Asit mentioned, “The police came on our sets and interrogated everyone. I wasn’t here then but everyone cooperated. The cops spoke to me later and I told them I hadn’t spoken to Gurucharan since the past few months.”
Family’s Distress and Relief
Gurucharan’s disappearance had deeply distressed his family, especially his father, who filed a complaint with Delhi Police in April. The complaint detailed Gurucharan’s sudden disappearance after he left for Mumbai but never arrived.
