Sara Ali Khan recently talked about how she says “Namaste” and wears Indian attire. She disclosed that her concern stemmed from the perception that other actors in the industry were attempting to mimic her. However, she is relieved that her audiences are accustomed to her style.
“I used to get annoyed when I believed I was being copied. It is not like an act, like this entire namaste thing. I greet people that way, and suddenly, every girl was copying me,” the girl remarked.

She added that she is no longer bothered by it since her audience knows her style. “This wearing Indian clothes at the airport and going with wet hair used to irritate me when other girls used to do it. But I realized that my darkshaks (audience) know it’s me. It’s fine, now it doesn’t bother me anymore. They write also, ‘Sara ko copy kar rahi hai.’ (They are copying Sara.) Now, I find it amusing. Now I’m like, Acha theek hai behan, kar le (It’s ok, you do it too),” she added.

Director Homi Adajania is behind the mystery thriller Murder Mubarak, which is highly anticipated. In addition to Sara Ali Khan, other actors in the movie include Tisca Chopra, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Karisma Kapoor. Netflix offers a streaming version of the film that was released at midnight.
She plays the role of freedom fighter Usha Mehta in the patriotic period drama film Ae Watan Mere Watan. In addition to Emraan Hashmi and Anand Tiwari, the film is directed by Kannan Iyer. Amazon Prime Video will stream the movie on March 21, 2024.
