Using social media, Nithya Menen revealed she was working with up-and-coming filmmaker Kamini on a new movie. According to reports, the movie is a fantasy romantic comedy based on a female viewpoint.
A ‘soup-girl story’
On March 15, Nithya took to her social media platform, Instagram, shared a poster featuring her, and wrote, “Bask Time Theatres and POPter Media proudly present Nithya Menen’s Fantasy Rom Com in Tamil. We have seen a lot of soup-boy stories on the big screen. For a change, here is a soup-girl story brewing up, a refreshing take on a slice-of-life movie reflecting a girl’s perspective on relationships. Written & directed by debutante Kamini and produced by BGN, Aditya Ajay Singh, Ramki”. The makers also announced it in a collaborative post with Nithya.
