Ravi Teja’s Eagle aims for solo release to avoid clash with and Yatra 2 and Ooru Peru Bhairavakona

Filmmaker Dil Raju had a conversation with the producers when five movies were set to compete at the box office for Sankranthi, and Eagle, starring Ravi Teja, agreed to withdraw from the competition. The Eagle team had chosen February 9 as their new release date, and Raju had previously promised a solo release to the first person to agree to drop out. The problem? Even though Siddhu Jonnalagadda‘s Tillu Square decided to withdraw, Sundeep Kishan’s Ooru Peru Bhairavakona and Jiiva’s Yatra 2 had already announced their release dates for the same period.

Ravi Teja’s Eagle’s creators requested a solo release in writing to the Telugu Film Chamber, as per their agreement. They said, “I am writing to formally address a matter of significance concerning the release of the movie Eagle, which was initially scheduled for the 13th of January 2024 in theaters,” in the letter that Gulte shared. In a meeting, the chamber requested that we ask one of the producers to reschedule the film. The movie’s release date was postponed in observance of the chamber’s decision.

They added, “By taking the assurance from the chamber we will get a solo date. As the chamber acknowledged in the press meet held by the chamber. Unfortunately, we have been seeing more releases every day and we request you to take this matter off and give us a solo release. ”
