Shraddha Kapoor’s starrer ‘Stree,’ a Hindi language comedy horror film released in 2018, was a huge hit; even though the movie is based on the prejudiced society of stereotypical mentality, the film attracted the audience with entertainment packed with it.
Stree was directed by debutant Amar Kaushik, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao as the main leads, along with Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee playing important roles. Exactly after six years of the movie, the makers have decided to make a sequel to the film with the title Stree 2.
Since Stree 2 was announced, audiences have been eager for the movie’s release as the makers have promised doubled entertainment this time. Recently, Pankaj Tripathi gave a hilarious update on the upcoming film in his AMA (Ask Me Anything) session.
in the AMA session conducted by Pankaj Tripathi, a fan asked to give any updates on Stree 2, to which Pankaj hilariously responded by sharing the gif that says ‘risk hai’ and added, “balak kyu darna chate ho?” (child, why do you want to get scared?). The response by him doubled the excitement in the audience.
Stree 2 is expected to hit the theatres on 16th august 2024 with the same cast as Stree with the addition of veteran actor sunil shetty.
