Arrive Early This Year….
Earlier this year in July, Tips Films dropped a new poster leaving the audience in shock with a rare combination and first-time collaboration between star actors Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif titled Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas has become one of the highly anticipated films since its announcement. The film was slated to release on December 15 has been preponed again. The film will be arriving a week early on December 8. The film will be released in two languages Hindi and Tamil.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan touted to be a thriller drama. Along with directing the movie, Sriram Raghavan also co-written the story for Arijit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, and Anukriti Pandey. The film was originally scheduled to release on December 23 but is shifted to December 15 but now been pushed earlier making it on December 8.
Merry Christmas is a film that was unlike anything he had made before adding that it begs the question of love and obsession. This film is unlike Andhadhun and it excited him because it was something he didn’t think the audience had seen before.
Raghavan also said that the film is made in Tamil because Vijay Sethupathi is there and there are few differences between Hindi and Tamil versions including casting. The same role is played by different persons as Radhika Sarathkumar in Tamil and Vinay Pathak will portray the same in Hindi.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Jaya Taurani, Sanjay Routray, and Kewal Garg, Merry Christmas will have Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte in an exciting cameo.
