Movie Clash Between Katrina & Sidharth….
December is packed with a lot of films this year, especially with back-to-back releases in Bollywood. From Animal to Merry Christmas to Yodha to Sam Bhadur to Dunki to Salaar, all the high-scale films are in December.
Merry Christmas is one of the anticipated films that is slated to release on December 8 after realizing prepone release may work out in their favor. Makers have announced the release date making it clash with Yodha which also postponed its release to December 8.
Karan Johar announced his latest release via X, “We are all set to land in cinemas on 8th December 2023 with a simple poster while makers of Merry Christmas also announced the arrival of flight early with a poster.
Interestingly, the films will now be released on the same day but have been sandwiched between three event movies. Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal arrives on December 1. Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’s Salaa will arrive on December 22.
Producer Karan Johar commenting on the clash wrote on threads, Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not a way forward for the studios and producers…If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us fraternity is futile.” However, With Merry Christmas getting another date, Yodha also went on to clash on the same date.
