On March 17th, renowned Kollywood actors, including Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, Vairamuthu, and others, gathered to pay respect to veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.
Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is a well-known figure in Indian cinema, particularly in South India.The filmmaker produced pictures from the 1970s until the late 2000s, with a release in 2022.
On March 17th, Kamal Haasan’s production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, gathered some of the most prominent names in the field of cinema, including Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini Haasan, lyricist Vairamuthu, filmmakers Madonne Ashwin and Arun Matheswaran, actor Siddharth, and many more, for a retrospective film fete in honor of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who was also present.
It seems that the retrospective film festival, named Apoorva Singeetam, was nothing short of a masterclass, with numerous of the legendary filmmaker’s masterpieces on display, including the 1981 classic Raja Paarvai, among others. It is also understood that film conversations were held with Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, Vairamuthu, and others. The production house used social media to disseminate photographs from the occasion.
