It’s been almost 45 days since the box office monster KGF 2 was released. Yet, it still stays in the news for breaking some records or the other. Right now, KGF2 destroyed the enormous record of Baahubali 2 in the Book My Show app. SS Rajamouli’s directorial held the record for most tickets sold on the BMS app with 17 million (170 Lakhs). KGF Chapter 2 has broken that record with 17.1 million sales. Needless to say, this is the all-time highest for an Indian film. Directed by Prashant Neel, the Hombale Films production was the sequel to KGF Chapter 1. The first part itself was a surprise hit, and the audience was surprised by the different kind of gangster theme Neel brought out. The sequel’s success was much more massive than the prequel. It Surpassed the Rs 1200 Crore mark globally, joining the likes of Dangal and Baahubali 2.
Director Prashant Neel is currently busy making yet another larger-than-life movie with Prabhas in the form of Salaar. After that, he will move to the project with Young Tiger Ntr. On the other hand, Yash has a lot of movies lined up. All of them are with Kannada directors, and no doubt, they all will be released in Pan India. My name is Kirataka, Subhashaya, Googly 2, Mungarina Modala Hani, Bhagyanagaram are the movies Yash has in the pipleline. If everything pans out well, he will again be seen in the KGF 3.
