Godavari which is so pleasant as a river as well as the film which is directed by well known Director Shekar Kammula, it is still the refreshing evening coffee film for many of the people, mostly the 90’s youth who are so connected to the dialogues, story telling and characterization of male and female leads which are gripping and warming lovestory. This is the best album till now, every song is charmbuster. Godavari river plays the crucial role by connecting the lead characters in a boat which travel around papikondalu, where cinematography was top notch with best sceneries. The bonding of Veturi and Shekar Kammula has been repeated for this magic too, his lyrics added a beautiful flavor for every frame of the film. Shekar Kammula is still addressed for his amazing work in Anand and Godavari. Today, the film has completed 17 years of its release. ‘ Shekar Kammula was the only one who picturised godavari beautifully after Director Bapu, He directed Andala Ramudu where his work of showing godavari with fabulous visuals stand out in every scene. coincidentally, Andala Ramudu was done by Akkineni Nageshwar Rao and Godavari was done by his grand son sumanth. Lucky that they are part of this admiring visual story telling.

‘Godavari’ tells the story of an visionary Sreeram, who comes up short to wed the cherish of his life due to her engagement to an IPS officer who sheets a voyage on the Godavari waterway and to induce over this and before long meets a youthful mold architect named Seetha. Sumanth played Sreeram whereas Kamalinee Mukherjee was seen as Seetha. Their onscreen nearness was much appreciated.
