Chandrayaan-3 refers to India’s third lunar exploration mission as part of the Chandrayan Program. The Chandrayaan-2 mission in 2019 was a failure because a technical issue caused the rover to crash on the moon. However, the crew recovered and successfully ejected the Vikram and Pragyan landers a third time. This time, it executed a soft touchdown on the quickly. This has grown to be India’s biggest success.
This achievement makes India the first country in history to launch a spacecraft to the south pole of the moon, making it remarkable. Several people offered their congratulations to the ISRO team and those in charge of the mission during the celebration of this feat.
While West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lauded the ISRO scientists. While Speaking at an event, she got confused with astronaut Rakesh Sharma with director Rakesh Roshan. The Video of the event went viral netizens created many memes on it. While speaking at the event Mamata said ” On behalf of the people of West Bengal, I send my advance congratulations to ISRO. Scientists must get credit. Credit must go to the country. When Rakesh Roshan landed on the moon, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi asked him how India looked from there. ” This statement left Netizens in splits to make memes on this.
