The Hungama actress shared a poster of the film Sukhee on her Instagram handle and mentioned This story is mine, yours, all of us. Meet Sukhpreet Kalra, aka #Sukhi, just like you, and come to my world on September 22, only in theatres.
Sukhee is a Hindi film directed by Sonal Joshi and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma. Sukhee is a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife who is fed up with her everyday life and relived the 17-year-old version of herself whilst going through a plethora of experiences in a span of just seven days. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 22.
She was last seen in the comedy-drama film Nikamma, directed by Sabbir Khan, starrer Shirley Setia and Abhimanyu Dassani in lead roles. The film failed to grasp the audience and mostly received negative reviews from critics and audiences for the actors’ performance and direction.
