Parenting in the spotlight is challenging, but Cardi B and Offset appear to be coping well. Images and videos of the two rap singers visiting Disneyland with their families appeared online yesterday. They were commemorating their son Wave’s second birthday, according to TMZ. They took him and his daughter Kulture, age 5, to Disneyland to experience several attractions and celebrate his special day. The couple and their kids can be seen having fun at the park.
Offset and Cardi B just released yet another successful joint single. Late in July, the couple collaborated on a new song called “JEALOUSY” that capitalised on the public’s interest in their romance. Fans responded to the song right away. It gained over 20 million Spotify streams in its first week and rocketed to number 55 on the Hot 100. It’s anticipated that it will be on Offset’s album, which he plans to release later this year.
A significant new collaboration with Cardi B is also in the works. The release of her new song “BONGOS” with Megan Thee Stallion was announced to the public yesterday. It’s their second collaboration together after their hugely successful 2020 pairing, “WAP.” It’s also Cardi’s first original song since being featured on three features earlier this year.
Just a few days have passed since both artists’ significant legal victories before Cardi and Megan announced the release of a brand-new single. The judge hearing the case dismissed a lawsuit alleging they had stolen the words to “WAP” from another artist. It’s unclear whether that had anything to do with when they announced a sequel.
