Kushi film’s honest review

Both Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda’s last films were big disasters. Not only did the movies give a bitter result, but many trolls also came against the two. However, they are building their career without slowing down. But there has been an unprecedented hype since the announcement that these two are doing a movie together. Along with this, the songs released with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab created tremendous buzz. Khushi gave hope to Sam and Vijay as they both needed a big hit to sustain themselves in the Tollywood Film Industry. Such a movie has hit theatres today. Now, let’s see how it is.

Story:

Hyderabad-based Viplav (Vijay Devarakonda) transferred his BSNL job to Kashmir. He falls in love with Aara Begum (Samantha) at first sight. He tries hard to impress Arani .. In this sequence, it is revealed that Aara’s real name is Aaradhya, a Brahmin from Kakinada. Apart from that, the two fall in love.

However, Aradhya’s father is Chadarangam Srinivasa Rao (Murali Sharma), who believes in Hindu orthodoxy and gives prophecies. Viplav’s father… Lenin Satyam (Sachin Khedekar), who is against superstitions and strongly believes in science, does not agree to their marriage. Aaradhya-Viplav gets married in front of the elders. But why did their fathers didn’t agree to their wedding? What problems did Aaradhya-Viplav’s married life face? Did they face them? Or broke up? That is the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Movies like Ninunkori and Majili from Shiva Nirvana became classic hits. In both these movies, he showed a love story of failure. But Khushi has demonstrated a successful love story in the film.

Siva Nirvana has succeeded in the story and narration of the Khushi movie and in providing catchy lyrics. Apart from that, he takes great care in choosing the lead cast.. Shiva once again proved it with Khushi. We have seen how much of a plus it was to select Thomas nani-niveda in Ninnukori and the then real couple Naga Chaitanya-Samantha in Majili. In Khushi’s, the casting plays a significant role in the film’s success.
Also, choosing Hesham Abdul Wahab as a music director is another plus point. The music given by Hesham Abdul Wahab… breathed life into the film. Another plus is the lyrics delivered by Siva Nirvana.

Now, the way audiences watch movies has changed. Action movies are given more priority than love stories. Making a love story with a budget of around 50 crores is commendable in these times. The film is brilliantly scripted without any boring scenes.

While showing the beauty of Kashmir in the first half, Vijay-Sam’s love story. Also, the decent comedy between Vijay Devarakonda and Vennela Kishore and some sentimental scenes are so intriguing and worked well. The second half begins with a wedding, followed by the couple’s routine quarrels and drama. He fumbled it to some extent, but he increased the speed of the story in the pre-climax and climax and created interest again.

Abdul Wahab’s music and background score and Sam and Vijay’s performances provide some relief when the second half lags. However, editing could have been done better. But he designed the climax and pre-climax emotionally, which compensated for the lag well.

Regarding performance, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda have already proved themselves. There is no need to find minuses about their acting. Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music did a great job of reaching to the audience. In a word, Abdul Wahab carried the film on his shoulder. We need to discuss something else: cinematographer G. Murali absolutely contributed to the film’s success. The way he showed Kashmir in the first half and Kerala in the second half is quite impressive. Editing is the only minus thing in the movie. It would be better if there were a few more cuts.

Plus points…

Shiva Nirvana
Samantha and Vijay’s acting
Fastoff
Songs & Music

Minus points…

Some scenes lag in the second half.

In total…

It’s a promising movie that touches the heart…
