The K-wave is undeniably one of the best things that happened recently. Kdramas have equally contributed to the increase of the fan base. Kdramas like Goblin, The Descendents of the Sun, and My Roommate are Gumiho are the top most viewed dramas around the world and are well received by the fans. Though fans constantly pleaded for the sequels of this classic none could be possible due to their endings but that is not the case with The Tale of the Nine-Tailed.
The Tale of the Nine-Tailed starring Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Bum, Hwang Hee, and Kim Yong Ji. Previously the team was in talks for a comeback. The team has finally planned on shooting the sequel. The script reading for the sequel took place today when the cast for the sequel appeared. The sequel is titled Tale of Nine-Tailed 1983 and features the same cast as the first but as the show takes us back to the past the leading lady has been replaced by Kim So Yeon.
This Historical horror romance fantasy is going to air on TBN on 6th May 2023 and the OTT partners for this drama are reported to be Jio Cinema, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Voot.
