Kollywood actor Vishal‘s last outing was Laatti, released in theatres on December 22 and touted to be a multilingual film.
Vishal plays the character of a police constable in the movie. Interestingly, he himself essayed the role of a father for the first time.
The film is directed by A Vinoth Kumar and it has Sunainaa in the female lead role. She is sharing screen space with Vishal after a decade’s hiatus. The trailer of the movie was unveiled a few days ago, Billed as an action entertainer which has loads of stunts and action sequences.
The action stunts and choreography taken by National Award winner Peter Hein are going to be one of the highlights of the film. Vishal was in the news a couple of times when he got injured while performing for a few stunt scenes. The movie plot revolves around a cop who gets attacked by a group of goons after an unexpected incident.
The movie team has announced that Sun NXT has bagged the film’s post-theatrical rights. Already, Sun TV has acquired its satellite rights.
Laatti is expected to have its digital premiere on 14 January. The film is Vishal’s second outing for the year 2022, after Veeramae Vaagai Soodum which was released in February of last year.
