Netflix’s Killer Soup is finally streaming. With all the ingredients of eccentricity, drama, crime, suspense, and panic, make this piping-hot dark-comedy thriller. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who has leaned into many genres so far, has brought detail to attention with his debut series.
Chaubey expanded the audacity of the offence along with co-creators Unaiza Merchant, Anant Tripathi, and Harshad Nalwade in the vein of a black comedy while adding echoes to give the soup a spicy flavour.
There is no secret recipe for the series, with Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sen Sharma ace their characters by recognizing the character’s sensibilities. But is food for thought alone enough to satiate the soul?
