After Salaar: Part One Cease Fire monstrous commercial hit, everyone is waiting for Prabaha’s next epic mythological-science fiction dystopian film Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by C.Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies.
Vishal Kumar of Kalki VFX clarified about ongoing film-delayed VFX works on his Twitter account. He said,” It took us 10 years to research VFX like Avatar and Avengers, We will see the results of this in Kalki, this is not yours Adipursh.” he urged fans to not compare Kalki VFX works with Prabhas’s Mythological film Adipurush.
Kalki is made with an estimated budget of Rs 600 crore making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The film’s cinematography is handled by Hollywood-renowned VFX artist Djordje Stojiljkovic.
The film ensemble cast includes Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. The film trailer will be unveiled in April 2024. The film will hit theaters in June in Telugu and Hindi while also being dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.
