After a box office bomb with Khushi alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu this year, Vijay Deverakonda started shooting for his next film, Family Star.
Currently, the actor is in New York shooting for his next film. While filming in New York, Vijay Deverakonada surprised his fans by arranging a small fan meet session as a special treat. He was seen talking to his fans and clicking pictures.
The special treat was made more special when the makers decided to screen the official teaser of Family Star at the iconic Times Square. The unexpected gesture overwhelmed the fans and the actor. Vijay Deverakonda, along with his director, were spotted watching the teaser.
Family Star is a relationship drama directed by Parasuram Petla. Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur will play the lead roles in the film, with Rashmika Mandanna expected to make a cameo appearance. Dil Raju produced the film, which was initially scheduled to be released during Sankranti 2024. However, the release date has been postponed to summer 2024.
Deverakonda is also set to feature in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s upcoming film, tentatively titled VD12. The film is expected to include Rashmika Mandanna, Keshav Deepak, and Manikanta Varanasi in the leading roles.
