Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the master of historical dramas, is about to launch Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, his newest series, on Netflix. With the backdrop of pre-independence India, this much-awaited series takes viewers to a realm in which “courtesans were once queens,” spinning a tale of love and betrayal. Bhansali brings these courtesans’ elaborate stories to life with his signature majestic flair.
