Heeramandi
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the master of historical dramas, is about to launch Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, his newest series, on Netflix. With the backdrop of pre-independence India, this much-awaited series takes viewers to a realm in which “courtesans were once queens,” spinning a tale of love and betrayal. Bhansali brings these courtesans’ elaborate stories to life with his signature majestic flair.
1. Manisha Koirala
With her 1991 Hindi film debut in Saudagar, Manisha Koirala’s Bollywood career got underway and she went on to act in other critically acclaimed films. Her works 1942: A Love Story, Dil Se, and many others are noteworthy. She looked exquisite in a gorgeous white outfit with elaborate mehendi decorations on her hands in the first look teaser, laying the groundwork for what seems to be another outstanding performance from the gifted actress.
2. Aditi Rao Hydari
Among the well-known movies in which Aditi Rao Hydari has appeared are Rockstar, Murder 3, London, Paris, New York, and others. Aditi and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali previously worked together on Padmaavat, where Aditi played Mehrunisa.

6. Sharmin Segal
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece Sharmin Segal has helped her uncle with a number of his directing endeavors. She revealed a peek of the complexity of her character in the Heeramandi series, radiating elegance and strong emotions. With a last image of her brandishing a gun, the teaser left viewers captivated and suspenseful.
Heeramandi is set to premiere on Netflix in 2024.
