Shruti Haasan, who is currently embracing the Salaar success spilled the beans about her upcoming films in a recent conversation. The actress is proud of the new change in Indian cinema, i.e., the rise in women-centric films in recent times.
Alongside Adivi Sesh, the actress and musician will also feature in Shaneil Deo’s Dacoit: A Love Story. The movie has been talked about since it was first announced, and the recently released teaser for the movie has only increased the excitement around it.
Furthermore, Shruti Haasan’s involvement in Philip John’s next English film, Chennai Story, was recently announced. In the most recent update, Pinkvilla spoke with the Waltair Veerayya actor in an exclusive interview, during which she talked candidly about her experiences on the spectacular Salaar sets as well as Dacoit and Chennai Story. Shruti revealed some fascinating new information and talked candidly about her next musical endeavor.
She talked about Chennai Story, and she said,” It’s not at all similar to Lion Like, at all. Like, I can’t, I can’t see the similarity at all. Completely different. You know, you always run the risk of this happening. I mean, it could happen even in The Eye, right? Yeah, definitely. a woman married to a British man. And so when you’re going cross country, cross globally, you run the risk of these stories feeling similar, just like Indian stories too feel similar.”
She talked about Salaar, she said It was overwhelming because the scale was so huge. Some days, I would walk on sets, and just be like, ‘wow’, this is like, they’re just created literally – you know, the world creation. That Prashanth Neel does. We’ve seen it as an audience, but to go and step into it physically and be there you realize the detail of work that our DOP, art department, everyone does to make Khansaar or this world of Salaar come alive.
