Rajinikanth was spotted in Puducherry by his fans while he was going for the shoot of his upcoming movie ‘Lal Salaam’.
‘Lal Salaam’, directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa starring Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth. A few days ago, the superstar also posted a photo of himself with the former Indian skipper Kapil Dev from the set of Lal Salaam. He also announced the former cricketer’s cameo in the movie. While Rajinikanth was going for the shoot he was swarmed by his fans in Puducherry. Several videos of fans waiting outside the set of ‘Lal Salaam’ in Puducherry have gone viral on social media. In one of the videos, fans are seen rooting for their favourite star and as soon as his car enters the venue, they go berserk. Rajinikanth waved to his fans in response to the love and energy they are spreading. He expressed his gratitude for all the love with folded hands from his car’s rooftop. In another video, the 72-year-old actor is seen stepping out from his vanity van and addressing the people who came to see him on the set.
Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. The music of the film has been composed by AR Rahman. Lyca Productions has posted a poster of ‘Lal Salaam’ on its twitter handle. It revealed Rajinikanth’s look from ‘Lal Salaam’. His Character was introduced as ‘Moideen Bhai’ who is “everyone’s favourite bhai”. His looks from the film was shared with the caption, “Everyone’s favourite BHAI is back in Mumbai 📍 Make way for #Thalaivar 😎 SuperStar 🌟 #Rajinikanth as #MoideenBhai in #LalSalaam 🫡”.
The last time we saw Rajinikanth was in the 2021 Diwali film Annaatthe. His subsequent appearance will be in Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer. Jailer, featuring Anirudh Ravichander’s music, is slated for release on August 10th, 2023. The actor and Tamannah Bhatia just finished shooting the movie. Lal Salaam, meanwhile, plans to hit theatres later this year.
