Drawing from his previous experiences shooting in Punjab for ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘Dangal,’ Aamir conveyed his deep connection to the region and its vibrant culture. Recalling the hospitality he received during the filming of ‘Dangal,’ Aamir reminisced, “We shot for ‘Rang de Basanti’ in Punjab, and I really loved it there. The people, the Punjabi culture… people are so full of love.”

Sharing his personal journey of cultural appreciation, Aamir confessed, “I belong to a Muslim family, I am not used to folding my hands in ‘Namaste.‘ I’m used to raising my hand (gesturing an adaab, the way Muslims greet each other) and bowing my head.” However, his experience in Punjab transformed his perspective, leading him to recognize the beauty and sincerity behind the gesture of ‘Namaste.’
