The long awaited sequel of OMG(Oh My God) is soon arriving says Akshay Kumar. The sequel of OMG titled OMG2 has started it’s production before pandemic but was delayed due Covid reasons. Now the actor took to twitter and posted about releasing the movie in August.

OMG has Paresh Rawal who portrays as a middle class atheist and Akshay Kumar as lord Krishna supporting the lead guiding towards what’s the actual truth. But in this sequel poster revealed by the actor in his social platforms, Akshay Kumar will be seen as Lord Shiva. Arun Govil who was roped in for the film in November 2021 during promotions will be seen portraying as Lord Rama.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, OMG2 stars Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam in pivotal roles while Amit Rai directed this film, Umesh Shukla directed the prequel of this film. OMG2 is said to be depicted around the subject of Indian Education System. Cape Good films is producing the movie backed up by Viacom 18 Studios and Wakao Film Jointly.
This film will be releasing in theatres on August 11 this year which also marks same release date for movies of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. OMG2 might clash along with these two films in theatres.
