Karan Johar’s directorial film in 7 years, Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani, is a highly anticipated flick. Tagged as a brand-new tale of love set in a new-age era, the movie is being helmed by Kjo’s banner, Dharma Productions.
The makers of the film have now revealed that the first glimpse of the film will be unveiled on 25 May, at 10 am by the film’s director Karan Johar himself. The upcoming movie stars Dharmendra, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.
25th May also happens to be the filmmaker’s birthday and additionally, the director is also celebrating 25 years as a director in the industry. He first debuted as a director with the hit classic, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, starring Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Rani Mukherjee.
After 7 years, Karan Johar is set to return as a director with this Alia Bhatt starrer. The renowned filmmaker’s last directorial venture was “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Fawad Khan.
Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani will hit the theatres on 28th July 2023. The movie was also featured on IMDb’s Global Summer Movie Guide Watch, one of the only 2 Hindi films on the list.
