In a promotional interview for Laapataa Ladies with a news portal Kiran Rao shared the best thing about getting married to her ex-husband Aamir Khan. The filmmaker shared that they had disagreements but never had major fights, and that happened very organically. Kiran Rao also shared that each of them had their own struggles and they dealt with them. The couple parted ways in 2021.
Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan have recently parted ways after 16 years of togetherness. Kiran Rao born in a Telugu-Bengali family is a filmmaker and a producer. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao met on the sets of Lagaan. Kiran Rao is also the founder of the Paani Foundation, which helps the drought victims of Maharastra. On the work front the entrepreneur’s next directorial, Laapataa Ladies is all set to hit the theatres on 1st March 2024.
