Atlee, a Tamil director who rose to fame in the North through Shahrukh Khan’s Jawaan, is all set for his next. The director is currently filming for Theri’s remake, which stars Varun Dhawan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Theri is being remade in Hindi, and Keerthy Suresh is all set for her Hindi Debut while the film happens to be Varun Dhawan’s 18th film. Keerthy Suresh and the entire team were seen performing the pooja on Makar Sankranthi for the blessings and to make the filming go well, without any difficulties. The film is expected to release later this year or in 2025.
Bankrolled by Priya Atlee and directed by Atlee, Theri’s remake has yet to make its title official, and the shooting has yet to finish.
