Every Bollywood actor wants to work with famous Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Many heroes and heroines are waiting to do a movie with Bhansali. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given super hit movies like Devdas, Gangubai, Bajirao Mastani, Ram Leela, and Padmaavat. If it was as expected, the movie Bajirao Mastani should have been set many years ago. It was supposed to star Salman Khan and Aishwarya.
Director Sanjay Leela dreamed of making Bajirao Mastani with the then super hit duo Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai. But Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai broke up and moved away. Both have a bad breakup story. Aishwarya dislikes seeing Salman Khan, let alone doing a movie without Aishwarya. Due to this, even the dream of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has come to a standstill.
At the same time, it is said that Salman Khan went to director Bhansali and asked him to replace Aishwarya with Katrina Kaif. Salman Khan went straight to Bhansali’s office and told him to cast Katrina Kaif as Mastani when he was unable to do a film with Aishwarya Rai. But somehow Sanjay was not convinced by the cast and that too had to be put to stop.
At last, after 15 years Sanajay made his dream project with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. After this, he again worked with this pair for another historical movie Padmaavat.
