Because the film turns ten this year, audiences will have a magnificent experience as it is re-released in IMAX 70MM. The re-release will undoubtedly evoke strong feelings of nostalgia among enthusiasts.

During CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount Pictures announced that Interstellar would return to theaters.

Variety reports that the film will be re-released on September 27 of this year. It will be displayed in Nolan’s preferred format, 70mm prints and digital displays.

In 2014, the film was released in film format, which was a difficult feat given that many theaters had switched to digital projection. The picture was shot using a combination of 35mm anamorphic film and 65mm.

It was also disclosed that Warner Bros., the movie’s co-producers, will collaborate with Paramount for its revival. Many moviegoers are looking forward to seeing this hidden gem in 70mm format.
