Hoshi is a South Korean singer, dancer, and choreographer. Managed by Pledis Entertainment, he is a member of the boy group Seventeen, the leader of its performance team, and part of its subunit BSS.
Hoshi of SEVENTEEN likely revealed the comeback month of the group after he went live on his 27th birthday to catch up with the fans. Initially, it was revealed that the group will be making two comebacks but the month of the second comeback was not revealed.
Hoshi went live on his birthday on 15 June and gave his fans a little surprise. He said, “Our Coups hyung has effortlessly spoken about the two comebacks this year during the CARATLANE but we haven’t said when so it’s that kind of situation in October… ” He further added, “Even if I don’t say October you guys will still come to know.”
On October 28, 2020, Seventeen received a Prime Minister’s Commendation at the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards, in honor of their contribution to the development of South Korea’s contemporary pop culture and arts.
Seventeen was the first-ever K-pop artist featured on both MTV Push, a global campaign curated by MTV’s music and talent teams in both the US and internationally, and MTV’s “We Speak Music” campaign, which highlights artists who have shown the best performances on MTV under the theme of “Music as a universal language.”
