Jimin has released three solo tracks under BTS’ name—”Lie” in 2016, “Serendipity” in 2017, and “Filter” in 2020—all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.
BTS’ Jimin recently received praise for his strong vocals on the Fast X OST Angel Pt. 1 which was released on May 18. “Angel Pt. 1” is a song by American rappers Kodak Black and NLE Choppa featuring South Korean singer Jimin and American singers Jvke and Muni Long. Angel Pt. 2, beside Jimin and a well-known ‘family’ member of the Fast X franchise, singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.
The song starts with piano melodies as Jvke and Jimin sing the chorus, followed by a verse from Kodak Black about persisting through hard times.
After the success of the second part, It was announced that Jimin will be returning with Angel Part 2 on an American movie soundtrack. The lyric video was shared on YouTube on June 15 at 9 pm with the song playing beautifully in the background.
