Made debut with Kalidas, Anumolu Sushanth popularly known as Sushanth is one of the decent actors introduced by Akkineni family. The young, talented actor is the grandson of none other than the classic actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and nephew of another equally renowned actor and superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna. Sushanth was born as Sushanth Anumolu on 18 March 1986 in Hyderabad. He is the son of Anumolu Sathya Bhushana Rao and Naga Susheela Akkineni. He is the grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who is his mother’s father and the nephew of Nagarjuna. Actors Sumanth, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni are his cousins.
Before entering the industry, he completed his training as an actor at Kreating Charakters Training School with his cousin Naga Chaitanya in Mumbai. He made his debut in Telugu film industry in 2008 with the movie Kalidasu in which he was paired opposite another very famous actress, Tamannaah.
Seeing all the success and hearing struggle stories of legendary actors Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sushanth says he’s blessed and grateful to have a good start to his career but he would never take it for granted.Though the actor bagged few flops, his Chi La Sow’ film scored a great hit in his career and proven his taste.
It tells the story of a 27-year old Arjun who has a crush on a sports car and is always forced by his parents to get married. Apart from hero roles, Susanth also done crucial roles in films like Aala Vaikunthapurramuloo. He also acted in a web series for the leading OTT platform ZEE5.
