Shriya Saran says she ignored Trivikram’s suggestion.

Shriya Saran, who has been a star heroine for many years in Tollywood has slowed down on Telugu films after her marriage. Recently, the actress came back to Tollywood with her Pan-India latest release ‘Kabja’. During the film’s promotions, the actress revealed something interesting about the advice given to her by director Trivikram Srinivas during her career initial days.

It is a known fact Shriya who made her debut with Istham rose to stardom with her very next film Santhosham. However, it’s Trivikram Srinivas Nuvve Nuvve that made her reach sky-high in the hearts of the Telugu people. The Anjali character portrayed by her in the film bagged a lot of applause.

This is Trivikram’s first film as a director, who was a writer till then, and Tarun acted as the hero. Meanwhile, in a recent promotional interview of ‘Kabja’, Shriya remembered Trivikram’s advice to her. She remembers that she did the film ‘Nuvve Nuvve’ when she was in her degree first year, but Trivikram often told her to complete her studies. But she said that she dropped out in the third year ignoring Trivikram’s words.

Also talking about Trivikram Studies, she said that he did not become a director from a writer, but from a scientist to a writer and then from a writer to a director. Actually, Trivikram Srinivas was well-educated. Very few people know that he did his MSc in Nuclear Physics. But Trivikram, who used to read books since his childhood, gradually developed a liking for movies. Also, having a good grasp of literature, he worked on many films as a writer. Guruji, who grabbed the megaphone for the first time with the movie ‘Nuvve Nuvve’, has now reached the level of a star director.
