Akkineni Nagarjuna scored a decent hit with Bangarraju but his past outing The Ghost turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Also, none of his new films created a great sensation at ticket counters. As of now, Nagarjuna locked his 99th film in the direction of Bezawada Prasanna Kumar. The film is a period drama and will kick start its shoot in Mysore soon.
On the other hand, Akkineni Nagarjuna was excited about his 100th film and so much was said as to who will direct it. Names of so many directors came out but Tamil director Mohan Raja has got the lucky chance. It is heard that Nagarjuna is impressed with Mohan Raja’s direction with Chiranjeevi’s latest movie GodFather film. Therefore Nag locked the director for his 100th film. It is said that Nagarjuna has approved the narration given by Mohan Raja and has asked to go ahead with the pre-production. The film will be made on a massive scale and Akkineni Nagarjuna himself will produce it on his home banner, Annapurna Studios.
Also, it is heard that Akhil Akkineni who is currently busy with his upcoming movie Agent will be playing a key role in this film as per the news. More details are awaited soon.
