Ajith Kumar after the success of his latest movie Tegimpu is all for his next film. AK 62 is a project by Lyca Productions and is touted to be a big-budget action flick. The movie has been making headlines since the end of January and it is now expected that the movie will go on the floor next month.
The latest buzz is that the pooja of the film was completed on February 20 but there is no official confirmation of this. Anirudh will be the music director for AK 62 after Vivegam.
The main thing is that Ajith and the producers don’t want to make an announcement with ‘AK 62’ as the title but are waiting to release it with the official title. AK 62, as we all know, has been associated with Vignesh Shivan and now that he is no longer part of the project.
Now the director Magizh Thirumeni is going to direct the film. Reports indicated that Ajith wants more action to be incorporated into the film and Magizh is revising the screenplay. Though the team desired a Diwali release, it does not appear like they would be able to do so since Magizh required time to revise the script and finish pre-production. As a result, there is also a delay on that front.
