It was reported that Vikram’s son Dhruv will be playing the lead role in Mari Selvaraj’s new project, which won a lot of attention with his debut film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’. Reportedly, the film starring Dhruv will be a sports biopic. Mari Selvaraj himself informed the media about this. It has not been announced when Dhruv will start the film.
Dhruv will be seen as Arjuna award-winning kabaddi star Manathi Ganesan in Mari Selvaraj’s film. Mari Selvaraj stated that Manathi Ganesan is also his close relative. Mari Selvaraj says that he has been wanting to make his story into a film for a long time. This Mari Selvaraj and Dhruv project will be produced by Pa Ranjith’s Neelam Productions.
Dhruv was last seen along with his father Vikram on the same screen in ‘Mahaan’. The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Dhruv Vikram had even sung the Missing Me song for the film ‘Mahaan’. ‘Mahaan’ was Vikram’s 60th film.
