He made his acting debut in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, we have known him as Dharmendra. However, with the release of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, it has been revealed that our beloved Dharam Ji has significantly changed his name. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya was released in cinemas today, February 9.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead. The veteran actor plays the role of Shahid’s grandfather in the movie. He is referred to as Dada in the film. Fans noticed in the opening credits that the name of Dharmendra was written as Dharmendra Singh Deol.
Dharmendra was born as Dharam Singh Deol in the film For the Unversed. But after so many years in the industry, the actor suddenly decided to incorporate his middle and last names. Fans wonder why because the veteran star has not officially announced any changes.
Dharmendra will soon be seen in Ikkis with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
