The anticipation among Keralites rises as the eagerly awaited release date of the film ‘Bramayugam’ is approaching. The crew members have announced that the film’s trailer will be released on February 10. The black-and-white film, scheduled to release on February 15th, has already generated buzz among audiences, especially after the release of the film’s teaser.
As reported earlier, Mammootty is set to play the role of Kunjamon Potti, a mysterious man from an aristocratic family in rural Kerala. The name of the veteran actor’s character and his look in the film left the Malayalam cinema audiences curious.
Some Malayalam literature lovers even speculated that Kunjamon Potti is based on a popular character from the much-celebrated Aithihyamala and Kadamattathu Kathanar story. However, the director brushed off these rumours, stating that the actor’s character was entirely fictional.
Rahul said the upcoming film is based entirely on fictional space, a full-fledged suspense thriller and not wholly a horror film. According to the director, it is more of a suspense thriller film with horror elements. Bramayugam is set to unveil its trailer on February 10.
