Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil film titled ‘Captain Miller’ is said to be a period action film set in what appears to be a war backdrop. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran and stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan and John Kokken in key roles.
The film was written with Dhanush in mind in 2018 but the work of the movie materialized only in 2021. It was officially announced on July 2 2020 with the title “Captain Miller’, inspired by Tom Hanks’s character John Miller from ‘Saving Private Ryan’ (1998) and principal photography began on 21 September 2022.
The film’s first look was finally released yesterday, featuring a rugged, injured Dhanush in rag tag clothing finding a moment of peace and serenity amid a war-torn atmosphere with the ground littered with fallen soldiers. Fans took to the comments section, writing; “Looks like another amazing movie is, loading… All the very best” and ” This looks crazy.. indeed it’s a killer miller”.
