1. Denzel Washington returns as Robert McCall in the third instalment of the action thriller series. Robert, once an assassin, now becomes a protector for his friends in Southern Italy as they face threats from local crime bosses. The film is set to hit the theatre on 1 September.

2. The NUN 2 is a horror film from the The Conjuring franchise that is finally arriving on the big screen. It is the scariest film in the franchise. The film takes place in 1975; this time, Nun wants an angel. The film is a direct sequel to the previous film directed by and produced by the director of The Conjuring, James Wan, and Warner Bros. The film is scheduled to hit the theatre on 1 September.

3. A Haunting in Venice Kenneth Branagh’s iconic detective Hercule Poirot returns in Agatha Criste’s spine-chilling murder mystery. Poirot attends a seance only to find himself investigating a murder. The series is getting deeper and better with the story and the cast. The trailer seems promising with direction, screenplay and cast performance. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on 15 September.

4. The Creator is an upcoming sci-fi drama directed by Rouge One fame Gareth Edward.John David Washington stars as an agent on a mission to take down an Artificial Intelligence creator to protect the human race, only to be twisted with a child. Experience the war between humans as the film is set to hit the theatre on 29 September.

5. SAW X is more gruesome than the previous franchise films. The intense horror film is the tenth instalment from the franchise, and the film is directed by Kevin Greutert and written by Peter Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. SAW X, this is not retribution; it’s reawakening. When a psycho, John Cramer, is on a mission seeking vengeance, can anyone stop him? The film is set to hit the theatre on 29 September.
