Jigarthanda Double X, a sequel to Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda is a much-awaited flick ever since its announcement. The movie was announced last December with a short glimpse that was titled, ‘ A Kind of Teaser’. Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates and now, it’s finally here. The team of Jigarthanda Double X announced that an update will be released at 4 pm today.
Jigarthanda Double X stars SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in lead roles and is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam & Kathiresan under the banner of Stone Bench Films. The music for the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film has cinematography by Thirunavukkarasu, and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
The first part, Jigarthanda featured Siddharth and Bobby Simha in lead roles. It also starred Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran, and Guru Somasundaram among others. The movie was even remade in Telugu as Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The story follows an aspiring director who tries to research a merciless gangster for a film. But his secret attempts to conduct the research fail when he gets caught snooping.
