Addicted to Social Media, here is a way to battle social media addiction

Social Media’s influence is immense, X(formerly known as Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, Pinterest, and many more platforms are one of the top-grossing and most-used platforms. 

Social Media addiction is not a surprise anymore, everyone is on social media, and scrolling reels, sharing reels, and viewing stories have made it easier to cut down on communication and add onto addiction. 

Here is how you can battle social media:

  • Remember Social Media is not the end of the world, not checking a reel your friend has shared will not end your friendship, and if it does then, it has never been a meaningful one originally.
  • Share posts on Instagram if you feel like posting and not for the sake of doing it because everyone else is doing it. 
  • Do not live in the assumption that you appear uncool because you don’t share your life on social media, life is meant for making memories by living, posting a picture on social media is not living life.
  • Interact with your people, and talk to them directly if possible, family, friends and family friends make your social life, it is not some social media stranger or a social media follower who has traveled with you in real, they just follow for your reels, while your people are with you for what you are in real.
  • Most importantly to battle social media addiction set up a time to use it, which will help in cutting down the excess amount of time you invest in it.
