Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor saw a blockbuster that shattered box office collections in the country with Animal, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Following the success of Animal, fans eagerly await its sequel, Animal Park. In December, the makers officially announced the second instalment of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s sequel will have Vicky Kaushal as the lousy boy if reports are to be believed. According to sources, Bobby Deol, who played the antagonist in Animal and received a lot of love from the audience for his performance, will now be replaced by Vicky.
Although there is no official confirmation, the news came as excitement among the fans ready to witness Vicky Kaushal lock horns with Ranbir Kapoor in intense fight scenes. At the end of ‘Animal’, antagonist Bobby Deol’s brother, a lookalike of Ranbir and a professional butcher, plans to avenge his death.
Vicky has never been cast in a negative role, and it will be interesting to see him lock horns with Ranbir on the big screen. If these reports are accurate, seeing Ranbir and Vicky’s fight scenes on the big screens will be interesting.
Interestingly, Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, was released in theatres clashing with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Both the films were released on December 1, 2023.
