Prithiviraj Sukumar starrer ‘Aadujeevitham’ is one of the year’s most anticipated films. Aadujeevitham finally went into production in 2018, with Prithviraj in the lead. Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman is quite upbeat about the upcoming movie Aadujeevitham.
Written and directed by Blessy, the film has been in the making for a long time. “He (Blessy) had dark hair when we started this film,” quipped Rahman, jokingly indicating the long time lapse that has occurred from the inception of this film to completion.
Rahman was recently in Kochi to take part in Aadujeevitham’s promotions. He also praised director Blessy and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran for creating such a remarkable movie. Drawing parallels with the Hollywood classic Lawrence of Arabia, he claimed that this film restored his faith in cinema as an art form.
The trailer of ‘Aadujeevitham’ starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul was released without warning, taking fans by surprise last year. The film tells the harrowing experience of an Indian migrant in an Arab country, following his journey through the desert, braving scorching heat, thirst, starvation, and injury.
Aadujeevitham is due in cinemas on March 28.
