Venkatesh Maha shades Prashant Neel’s Salaar, he then claims he didn’t intend to do so

He claims it is a coincidence…

Venkatesh Maha, who previously criticised Prashanth Neel’s KGF, comes into the spotlight again. As his tweet sets fire, he doesn’t acknowledge Rebel star Salaar-The Ceasefire, which is all set to hit the theatres; the fans and audience await the film’s release, which is set to hit the theatres on 22nd December 2023. The film is all set to clash with Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki, which will release on 21st December 2023, a day before Salaar.

Venkatesh Maha took to X to congratulate the Dunki team, “All set for #Dunki on the 1st day! Can’t wait to see my favourite @iamsrk in a @RajkumarHirani garu’s creative world! Heard there was a standing ovation at the Censor Board Screening. If that is true, I believe it is going to be a roller coaster ride of emotions for all the film lovers!” his tweet received criticism as fans and netizens claimed that he tried to shade Prashanth Neel for his upcoming release.

Hours later, he retweeted, asking netizens to calm down as he didn’t intend to shade Salaar.” Ok guys, calm down. I think you are mistaking a coincidence. I have no other intentions while writing my previous post than sharing my excitement for Dunki. I just got to know that the trailer of Salaar got released after your comments. Stop talking without knowing facts guys. I am a big fan of Prabhas garu since his first film and I always wished to work with him. There were many instances I openly said it. I just watched the trailer of Salaar too and it looks amazing. Just don’t create a mess for everything and alter the facts. I told you not to do this just few days ago, I think it is time for you guys to move on from me.” Posted Venkatesh Maha.
