A one-hit wonder is a term used to describe some actors and actresses. This is due to the fact that they only feature in one movie and become famous due to their role in it. The actress Girija Shettar is a prime example. She appeared in the timeless love story Geethanjali, directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Nagarjuna, which is regarded as a classic. The crowd fell in love with Girija’s snarky, humorous, and mischievous Geethanjali character. She then left show business after making an appearance in Mohanlal’s Vandhanam. Girija Shettar, who won praise for her iconic performance in Maniratnam’s epic love story Geethanjali, is once more making news. She is making a surprising comeback to the big screen after a 20-year absence.
Girija Shettar, who last played a lead role in the Telugu movie Hrudayanjali in 2002, is about to make a comeback in the Kannada film Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali, which is being directed by Chandrajith Belliappa. She portrays the single mother Madhumitha in this movie, giving the part her distinct charm and nuance.
She would be acting with Vihan, Ankita Amar, and Mayuri Nataraja, who all had important parts in the next movie. Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali is being produced by GS Gupta and Rakshit Shetty under the auspices of Paramvah Studios. The soundtrack for the movie was composed by Gagan Baderiya.
