Aamir Khan is going to bring Junaid under his Production banner

Aamir Khan, dubbed “Mr. Perfectionist” of Bollywood, is recognized for his amazing original stories that always push the boundaries of the material. Recently, he has begun taking on remake projects. Three of the five movies the superstar is producing right now are remakes. Aamir Khan is currently starring alongside his son Junaid Khan in one of those remakes. In a love story with a Japanese setting, Junaid Khan will perform.

The movie starring Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan is a remake of One Day, a Thai movie. The official remake rights to Aamir’s favorite Thai romance movie from 2016 were purchased last year. Sunil Pandey, who has worked with Aamir for a long time and is also the film’s director, has expertly translated the Thai movie for the Indian audience. According to sources, Junaid will portray a quiet 30-year-old IT officer in this movie. They have not yet decided who will play the female lead opposite him.

Several awards have been given to the Thai movie. Chantavit Dhanasevi and Nittha Jirayungyrun appear in the film, which was directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. It depicts the tale of a man who risks everything to spend one day with his sweetheart by claiming to be her lover after she suffers temporary memory loss in an accident. The film received high appreciation for its richer sensibility and multi-layered plot, which skillfully juggles deception, conflict, memory, and sacrifice.
